Overview

Mr. Walker's practice covers a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on representing commercial developers in the acquisition, construction and development of office, retail and mixed-use developments. His experience includes the drafting and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, development agreements with public and private entities, restrictive covenants for mixed-use developments, retail and office leases and easement agreements. Mr. Walker has contributed in development of such prominent mixed-use projects as Project One and RiverPlace in Greenville, South Carolina and the Bull Street Campus in Columbia, South Carolina.

He is an agent and approved attorney for Chicago Title Insurance Company and First American Title Insurance Company.

Mr. Walker also has extensive experience representing financial institutions and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions. His practice also includes corporate representation by providing clients with strategic legal advice regarding organizational issues, shareholder and operating agreements, corporate governance, general business and contractual matters.

In addition, Mr. Walker represents a local special purpose district, which involves state and local government law issues.
