Mona O'Bryant practices in the administrative law arena, focused primarily on environmental matters and the regulation of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages at federal, state and local levels.
Her environmental counseling practice includes environmental compliance, planning and permitting, administrative proceedings, auditing, and business and real estate transactions. She has significant experience in wetland and stream permitting and mitigation, sediment and erosion control issues, remediation of contaminated properties, siting and permitting of solid waste management facilities, obtaining required local approvals, solid and hazardous waste management, and underground storage tank regulation.
Ms. O'Bryant also advises clients in the tobacco product and alcoholic beverage industries on compliance, excise tax and business issues that arise under federal statutes and under the regulation of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), as well as state laws and regulations applicable to the manufacture, distribution and sale of these products.
