Operations Counseling and Risk Management

Operations Counseling and Risk Management

At Smith Moore Leatherwood, we value the opportunity clients give us to work as a member of their operations teams.  We may serve as the organization's general counsel, provide crisis management support, offer daily counseling on a wide range of issues, or routinely appear at Board and management meetings to provide compliance and other updates and counsel.

We also provide routine, front-end risk management and risk reduction assistance to help clients avoid or minimize the possibility of future claims or regulatory enforcement actions.  We assist our clients in reviewing and assessing the response to patient complaints; stratifying risk with regard to reported adverse events or patient care concerns; and evaluating and revising policies to strengthen procedures and minimize risk going forward.

Our team has the practical and legal experience to serve as your trusted advisor regarding operational and risk management activities.  Contact a team member to discuss how we can help your organization achieve its operational goals.
