GREENSBORO – Women attorneys from Smith Moore's Greensboro & Raleigh offices will hold a day-long conference for women business owners and operators focusing on a wide variety of legal issues. The "Women in Law for Women in Business" conference will take place December 1, 2005 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the O. Henry Hotel in Greensboro, located at 624 Green Valley Road. The conference will be followed by a wine and cheese social sponsored by the National Organization of Women Business Owners.
The conference will include a talk by Cheryl Igou, President of Communication Rules!, LLC, about the impact of women's and men's communication habits on business interactions. In addition to a presentation on how to use lawyers effectively, the attorneys will offer specific sessions on employment law, intellectual property, corporate law, contracts, healthcare, and estate planning.
