Liz Hedrick is a litigator who focuses primarily on real estate litigation and healthcare litigation. She represents clients in a variety of disputes, including business disputes, malpractice claims, landlord-tenant litigation, and administrative law matters.
Liz focuses her real estate litigation practice on landlord and tenant disputes involving lease defaults and collection of rents. She represents both commercial and residential landlords and tenants, and has successfully litigated cases through summary judgment, trial, and appeal, including post-judgment collection and enforcement. Liz also regularly represents healthcare clients in both administrative and civil litigation, including at the Court of Appeals.
Liz is licensed to practice in North Carolina. She is active in the community, serving as Secretary of the board of directors for Artsplosure and is a former member of the executive leadership team of the American Heart Association's Triangle Go Red for Women and a current member of its Circle of Red. She is also the President Elect of the Eastern District of North Carolina Federal Bar Association.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with highest honors, from the University of North Carolina. Liz received a juris doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, with honors. While in school, Liz was a staff writer and publications editor for the First Amendment Law Review.
