Marilyn Feuchs-Marker has more than 25 years' legal experience practicing in the area of family law. As a practitioner, Marilyn is experienced in all aspects of family-related matters and domestic relations, including child custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, premarital agreements, post-marital agreements, and international family law under the Hague Convention under the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. She has been recognized by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for her work in the protection of children. Marilyn has worked for more than 20 years in helping parents whose children have been abducted to and from the United States, England, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. Marilyn is the past chairperson of the International Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association in which she helped create the international lawyer exchange between the North Carolina Bar Association and other participating countries. Marilyn was a delegate for the inaugural lawyer exchange with Taiwan. Marilyn has been a volunteer judge and trainer of students for Teen Court and has been a volunteer presenter for the court-mandated class for custody matters for more than 20 years. She has been recognized in Business North Carolina's Legal Elite and has been selected by her peers for inclusion in Woodward White's The Best Lawyers in America.
