Smith Moore Leatherwood's Diversity Committee is a standing committee that includes, among others:
- The firmwide chairperson of Recruiting, to ensure our recruiting practices are best implemented to attract a diverse and talented pool of lawyers.
- A member of the Associates Committee, to promote an inclusive, collegial environment in which associate lawyers are encouraged and supported to grow, develop, succeed.
- The firm's Executive Director, who provides staff support and works with the Management Committee and Office Administrators to address diversity issues related to staff members.
The Diversity Committee also works closely with the firm's Chair to ensure coordination and consistency among firm initiatives.
