Overview

Bridget Warren practices in the firm’s litigation group. She focuses on commercial litigation in a wide variety of areas, including intellectual property rights, commercial contracts, securities, and employment law.

Bridget is active with the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys and serves on the North Carolina Bar Association's Pro Bono Activities Committee and the Lawyer Effectiveness and Quality of Life Committee. Bridget also spends time volunteering for Lawyer on the Line and Council for Children’s Rights. While in law school, Bridget was Treasurer of Holderness Moot Court and a member of the International Appellate Advocacy Team. She was also inducted into the Order of the Barristers.

  • Confidential Matter – Case Filed Under Seal (defend claims of trade secret misappropriation and copyright infringement involving computer software source code, including 4-day preliminary injunction hearing) (W.D.N.C., Judge Graham C. Mullen) (2017)
  • Defending a leading retirement provider of financial services in an employment case in which a former employee alleges violations of the ADA and FMLA, along with retaliation claims and state tort claims, including failing to afford reasonable accommodation

  • Defending a telecommunications company in an employment case in which former employee alleges the company failed to pay her overtime wages in violation of FLSA and the NC Wage and Hour Act
