Attorney Whit Pierce Selected to Triad Business Journal's "40 Under Forty"

Greensboro, N.C. –  Whit Pierce, an associate in Smith Moore Leatherwood's Greensboro office, was recently included in the Triad Business Journal's "40 Under Forty" list. This award recognizes 40 individuals under the age of 40 who are making major strides in their careers and having a positive impact on their communities.

As an attorney in Smith Moore Leatherwood's litigation group, Whit's practice focuses primarily on business litigation and intellectual property disputes.  His clients include both local businesses and national corporations, and he has developed a solid litigation practice representing his clients in complex cases in state and federal courts in North Carolina and other jurisdictions.

Pierce will be recognized at the "40 Under Forty" awards presentation on February 18 at the Elliott University Center, University of North Carolina Greensboro and will be featured in an upcoming edition of the Triad Business Journal.

He received his bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University in 2000 and his juris doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2011.
