Anna Verderame Joins Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP

Charlotte, N.C. — Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Anna Verderame to the firm's business group in the Charlotte office. Verderame’s practice will focus primarily on intellectual property, with specific emphasis on patent law.

“Anna’s scientific background and extensive experience in patent law are well suited for her role at Smith Moore,” said John Zimmer, a partner in the Charlotte office. “She will make an exceptional addition to the team and we are excited to welcome her to the firm.”

Verderame received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Rochester and her law degree from the George Washington University Law School, where she served as a staff member of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association and as a student advocate for the health insurance counseling project. Verderame is a member of the Intellectual Property Owners Association and the Pauline Newman IP Inn of Court.
