Smith Moore Leatherwood Wins Three International Marketing Awards

Greenville, SC – Smith Moore Leatherwood is pleased to announce that it has been honored with three awards from the 2011 International Awards Competition held by Hermes Creative Awards, which recognizes creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media.

Chosen from over 4,400 entries worldwide, Smith Moore Leatherwood's awards included a Platinum Award in the Design/Postcard category for its Working Mother Postcard; a Gold Award in the Website Overall category for; and a Gold Award in the Publication/Magazine category for SML Perspectives magazine. Entries were submitted by corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.

"We are honored to have been awarded three Hermes Creative Awards," said Brenda Stewart, the firm's Director of Marketing and Client Services. "This acknowledgement speaks to the strength of our creative team led by Jessica Robertson."

Hermes Creative Awards is directed and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals ( The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and free-lance specialists. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges, and rewards outstanding achievement and services to the profession.

AMCP judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent surpasses a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. Winners are carefully chosen from 151 categories in seven forms of media and communication efforts: advertising, publications, marketing/branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media and pro bono.
