Smith Moore Leatherwood Welcomes Attorney To Greenville Office

Hall Provence joins the firm as a corporate law associate

Greenville, S.C.  — Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP recently expanded its Corporate Practice Group with the addition of Hall Provence, who joins the firm as an associate in the Greenville, S.C. office.

Provence will focus his practice on the areas of tax, wealth transfer planning, trusts and estates, and business transactions. In addition, Hall assists clients on employee benefit matters and business succession planning.

“We are excited to increase the depth of the Corporate Practice Group in our Greenville office, and firm-wide,” says Tod Hyche, partner in charge of the Greenville office. “Hall’s enthusiasm and skills have made him a valuable addition to Smith Moore Leatherwood.”

Provence earned his Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from the Calhoun Honors College at Clemson University. He later received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2012 and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida School of Law in 2013. Provence is currently a member of the South Carolina Bar Association Tax Law Section.
