Smith Moore Leatherwood Adds Attorney To Atlanta Health Care Group

Atlanta, Ga. – Smith Moore Leatherwood is pleased to announce the expansion of the firm's Health Care Group with the addition of Andy Lemons in Atlanta.

Lemons' practice focuses on regulatory and transactional matters, providing strategic advice to hospitals, laboratories, physician groups, and pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies on various matters. In addition to advising clients on compliance with federal and state health care laws and regulations, he helps clients navigate opportunities and obstacles of Health Care Reform, including provider integration, care coordination and risk management.

For the past 5 years, Lemons has been listed to The Best Lawyers in America® (Woodward/White, Inc.) for Health Care Law. He serves as co-chair of the American Health Lawyers Association Research and Development Affinity group and was previously the Vice Chair of the American Health Lawyers Association's Teaching Hospitals and Academic Medical Centers Practice Group.

Lemons received his B.S. in Biology from Birmingham-Southern College and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law.
